Sunday 12th October was the National Senior Grading, Castle Vale. Here are the results:

Well done to Lee and Alex on Sunday 22nd June with their first gradings at Asby De La Zouch; here are the results:

Also well done to Joshua Lowe, who also took his grading - he fought really well and achieved blue belt with 2 brown bars. Only his age held him back from achieving brown belt.

Sunday March 2nd was a really successful day for our players who took their gradings; below are the results:

February 17th 2008 was a real achievement for Meiji; the first big tournament of the year, we brought home lots of trophies. Some of the beginners did particularly well. Here are the results:

On the 9th February 2007 we had our annual achievement awards presentation. This was a great evening with lots of trophies, fun, food and a disco.

The 18th of March 2007 saw the National Closed Championships which was an important competition if players wanted to fight at the 12th National Squad ‘Houvast’ Judo Tornament at Mierlo in Holland on the 18th - 20th May 2007.

The results from the days event at Castle Vale, Birmingham for Meiji was as follows:

Well done guys, all players from Meiji listed above will be going to Holland to fight for Great Britain.

Last Sunday was the AJA Age competition at Castle Vale, some familiar faces amongst the crowds and fighters.

Well done to 2A’s Judo for picking up the Gold in the team event and well done to the Meiji A team who picked up bronze. Meiji had a couple of unlucky fights where it just wen against them.

Meiji scooped some great medals in the age competition too, I will post the results here later.
