Koka Kids - Website
Kim found a great Judo magazine today called Koka Kids, obviously aimed at the younger junior Judo player. Its got all things Judo like comedy throws, competitions (win a Judo suit), hints on throws from the champions and puzzle posters. Its £3 per edition you may be able to get it from the club soon, we are finding out the details.
There is a bunch of stuff to have a play with on the website for the young ones:
Kids go straight to the Games Zone
New Look Meiji.org.uk Website
We have re-launched the Meiji website, converting it to a Blog….BUT…we would like to hear from you.
What do you think of it?
What other features would be useful?
Is there something you don’t like?
You can leave your answers in the comments section.
National Championships Castle Vale 2006
This was the decider. Contestants had to achieve bronze or better for their place in Holland to fight for Great Britain. Meiji only had a few fighters at this competition and only one winner - John Cox. Well done to John he just missed the Gold at the last minute but was ahead all the way through. John got a silver for his medal cabinet and has secured his place in the trip to Holland.
